コンテンツの情報化が進む現在、本はオールドエイジの産物と言われます。
そんな中、アーティストが自ら手がけるアーティストブックという表現は様々なかたちに展開され、
ハンドメイドのオリジナルブックやZINEをはじめ、自らがパブリッシャーとしての立場をもつアーティストも現れています。
パブリッシュするという行為は、アーティストの創作行為の中で重要な位置を占めているということです。
作品がギャラリーやブックストアから誰かの手に渡ることは、アーティストたちのアイデアをシェアすることを意味します。

The gallery hours for the Summer semesters are 10am-4pm Mon-Fri or by appointment.

Publisher! Publisher! focuses on the exploding world of artist’s publications by focusing on the work of a handful of publishers and artists who have expanded space for experimental publications.
With special guests: Booklyn (NYC), Contab Publishing (Chicago), Esopus (NYC), Just Seeds (Pittsburgh/All-over), K48/Scott Hug (NYC), Megawords (Philly), Office of Culture and Design (Philippines), Pens Press (LA), Pre Libri (Japan), Publication Studio (Portland, OR), Rotland Press (Detroit), Fransec Ruiz (Spain), Siglio (LA), Temporary Services (Chicago/Philly/Copenhagen), Torpedo (Norway), Ugly Duckling Presse (NYC), Work Press (St. Louis)
Emmons will be giving a gallery talk the night of the reception at 8pm
All events are free and open to the public.
